Ferryhill Town Council is pleased to announce the line-up for its forthcoming Armed Forces Day Party in the Park Family Event at Dean Bank Recreation Park, which will be held on Sunday, 28 June. The event which is being organised in association with AH Events Ltd. will be FREE to attend and will include live performances from a variety of stage acts as follows:

12.30 – 12.40 DJ
12.40 – 13.30 Soldiers of Swing
13.35 – 13.50 Newton Aycliffe Pipe Band
13.50 – 14.00 DJ
14.00 – 15.00 Soul Street
15.00 – 15.15 DJ
15.15 – 16.00 Danny Wells (Rock n’ Roll Tribute)
16.00 – 16.15 DJ
16.15 – 17.00 ULEE40 (UB40, Reggae and Ska Tribute)
17.00 – 18.00 DJ
The event will include a range of attractions for the whole family to enjoy, including Crazy Golf and a variety of inflatables such as a Large Assault Course, Wipeout, and a Large Slide. The event will also feature face painters, a craft area with badge and flag making workshops, garden games, a tots’ area, and a range of stalls.
Refreshments will be available throughout the event with catering vehicles and a fully licensed bar supplied by The Ivorson Public House in Ferryhill, who will be serving a variety of alcohol. Challenge 25 will apply! Visitors will be able to relax and enjoy the entertainment from deck chairs positioned in front of the stage, picnic tables located across the event site, or by bringing their own picnic blankets.

Parking at the event will be restricted to Blue Badge Holders only and security arrangements for the event will be heightened. Marshalls reserve the right to search all bags. Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times and only alcohol purchased at the venue can be consumed on site.
