Clare Metcalfe, Ferryhill Poppy Appeal Organiser, would like to extend her sincere thanks to everyone who supported and contributed to the 2025 Poppy Appeal.
Thanks to the dedication, generosity, and community spirit shown across the country, an incredible £54.1 million has been raised nationally. Locally, the people of Ferryhill have once again shown outstanding support, raising an impressive £6,136.75.
Clare said: “I would like to personally thank every volunteer, supporter, and donor who helped make this year’s Poppy Appeal such a success. Your continued commitment ensures that we can support our Armed Forces community, both past and present.”
The Poppy Appeal continues to rely on the kindness and generosity of communities like Ferryhill, and this year’s total is a testament to that unwavering support.
