Spennymoor Town Supporters Club held its end of season party at Spennymoor Workingmens Club on Saturday night, 18 May.
A trophy was presented to Spennymoor Walking Football team, which the Supporters Club has sponsored, to enable them to compete in a Walking Football league, which they went on to win.
“We also made an award to James Curtis,” said club chairman, John Magill, “who has just retired after eight years as a Spennymoor Town player.
“We were happy to acknowledge James’s huge contribution over those years.”
