Bishop Auckland Choral Society Concert

Bishop Auckland Choral Society’s next concert will take place at 7pm on Saturday 27 May at Bishop Auckland Town Hall.
Tickets, which are £12 and £8.50, can be purchased from Jane Smith on 01325 360514; Brothertons Music shop in Newgate Street, or on the door on the night of the concert.
The choir are singing Stabat Mater by Rossini, a religious work written in 1873, by nature operatic, and are premiering the Kyrie by David Haslam. David was principal flautist for Northern Sinfonia and conductor of Newcastle Philharmonic Orchestra until his retirement.
The choir will be accompanied by the Vinovium Orchestra and conducted by Venera Bojkova.
