Staff, service users and carers had reason to be cheerful in the summer sun last week as former Mayor of Ferryhill, Cllr Carole Atkinson cut the ribbon to officially open the adult day care charity’s newly resurfaced front entrance.
Funding for the project came from Cllr Atkinson’s as Endeavour was one of her chosen charities in her mayoral year in office.
A spokesperson for Endeavour said: “Thank you so much to Cllr Carole Atkinson for the funding we received as a Ferryhill Mayor’s chosen charity. And many thanks also to Ryan and Elite Groundworks NE for the amazing job they did on the resurfacing. We are very grateful.”
