Shildon Alive, in collaboration with BT, is hosting an information session about the transition from analogue to digital landlines, known as Digital Voice, on June 19th from 11am until 12.30pm.
The transition marks a significant shift in telecommunications, but could have implications for users of Telecare Alarm systems.
The change involves moving from traditional copper wire systems to modern digital networks, offering clearer call quality and more reliable connections.
However, it’s important for users of Telecare Alarm systems to be aware that the transition, could affect their services.
It is advisable for these users to contact their landline providers to ensure compatibility and to avoid any disruption.
“The information session at Shildon Alive will address any questions or concerns,” said Outreach Advice and Support officer, Laura Cook,
“and provides an excellent opportunity to learn more about the transition and its implications.”
