At 11am on Friday 24th February, the first wedding of 2017 took place at Saint John’s Church, it was a truly joyful event with laughter and smiles in abundance.
The young bride, now Mrs Victoria Smith has lived through a challenging few years battling with cancer first diagnosed in 2015.
The couple have been together since their school days and have twin boys Brodie and Jayden who were the ring bearers during the ceremony.
The groom, Brendon Smith, had his younger brother Cain at his side as best man, whilst the Bride’s father Michael walked his daughter proudly down aisle.
The bridesmaids and maid of honour looked stunning in beautifully coordinated dresses.
Victoria and Brendan spoke of how grateful they were to everyone for helping make their day so special.
Rev’d David, conducting the ceremony, spoke of how love is the strongest thing in the world, always triumphing in the end, and that Brendan and Victoria’s love was worthy of a roof lifting celebration.
The couple, family and friends went on to Woodham Golf Club for their reception.
