Councillor Kath Conroy presenting Members of Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC with a cheque

Ferryhill Town Council is pleased to announce that the latest group to benefit from funding through its Members Initiative Fund (MIF) is Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC, who were recently visited by Councillor Kath Conroy to present members of the organisation with a cheque for £225 from her MIF allocation.

Endeavour are a non-profit making organisation. They offer a day service providing training and education in the art of woodwork design and crafts, for adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues. They will be using the funds to purchase new work overalls for all service users.

Councillor Conroy said: ‘I am delighted to be able to support such a worthwhile organisation.  Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC provides an invaluable service for vulnerable people in Ferryhill and I am only too happy to support them.’
