It’s time for the annual charity football match in Chilton, but this time it’s the coaches and parents of Chilton Juniors FC against the new mighty Chilton Club FC.
The clubs are hoping to raise as much awareness and money as they can for two great charities, whilst bringing people of Chilton and surrounding areas together.

Team Solan is a local Spennymoor-based charity which aims to improve the quality of life of children and adults who have been affected by a cancer diagnosis or cancer bereavement.
They provide bespoke help and support including emotional, physical, and practical needs.
The game kicks off at 2pm on Saturday 28 June at the Charlie Wayman Fields and everyone is invited to go along and support both the teams and the charities.
