Students at King James have excelled in a range of academic and vocational courses this year and are celebrating the best A Level results in the history of the Sixth Form Centre.
45% of Year 13 students achieved A* grades and 63% of students achieved at least one A* or A grade. Thanks to these significant results, students are now set to pursue a diverse range of educational pathways and opportunities.
There are also a significant proportion of students moving into employment and further training, and the first cohort of Martin Gray’s Football Academy (MGFA) Post-16 graduates will also be pursuing various interests, having completed their Extended Diploma in Sport.
Year 11 students also achieved excellent GCSE results across a range of subjects and have been justifiably rewarded for their hard work.
Those following arts-based subjects, including Fine Art, Photography, Media, Expressive Arts and Drama excelled with 100% of students achieving A* to C grades in Photography and over 90% of students achieving A* to C in other subjects.
Excellent performance was also sustained in a range of vocational subjects.
