BASH AAP Board vacancy

Bishop Auckland and Shildon Area Action Partnership currently has a vacancy on its board and is actively recruiting for a public representative.

“This is an exciting opportunity for those with a keen interest in their local community to join a dynamic and proactive Board that has successfully delivered a number of projects throughout the Bishop Auckland and Shildon AAP area since the formation of the Partnership in June 2009,” said a spokesperson.

“The role itself is not onerous in terms of time commitments. There is a requirement to attend a Board Meeting, and we would encourage members to become involved in our Task and Finish groups.

“The role is about sharing your valuable local knowledge and being passionate about your community – helping to make a difference in our area.

“If you would like more information about the role of a public representative, or would like to receive the full application pack, please contact a member of the Bishop Auckland and Shildon AAP team by emailing bishopshildonaap[@]durham[.]gov[.]uk and we will be happy to help you.

“Once we receive your completed application, a member of the AAP Team will be in touch to outline the next steps.

“This is your opportunity to become directly involved in what’s going on in your local area and we look forward to hearing from you.”

Recruitment, shortlisting and interviews for the position will take place in late April. The closing date for applications is 5pm, Friday 19 April.
