
Cash Access UK, the organisation set up to protect access to cash across the UK, has opened a hub at 4 Whitworth Terrace in Spennymoor.
The official opening took place at 11am on 27 August and the Town Mayor, Cllr Liz Maddison was in attendance to cut the ribbon.
The Mayor said: “This is a much needed asset to our community and I feel privileged to open this facility today.”
The Hub is open weekdays from 9am-5pm. A community banker service is also available where customers can talk to their own bank in a private space on the day that their bank is in the Hub. Monday is NatWest, Tuesday, none as yet; Wednesday, Barclays; Thursday, Halifax and Friday, Lloyds.
