Ferryhill Town Council recently held an Art and Photography Exhibition, running for two weeks from Monday 24th July until early August. The event allows local artists and photographers, both experienced and amateur to showcase their work.
Due to the huge success of last year’s Art and Photography exhibition, Ferryhill Town Council held this event both in person, in Ferryhill Town Hall, and virtually online, on its Facebook page.
“The exhibits entered were extremely varied and the event was once again a huge success,” said a spokesperson. Visitors of the Exhibition were asked to vote for their favourite pieces of work.
The winners of the 2023 Art & Photography Exhibition are as follows:
Art Winner – Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC for The Tree of Acceptance;
Children’s Art Winner – Amelie Turner for Wild Card;
Photography Winner – Karen Tomkinson for Bleabeck Force, Upper Teesdale.
