Derek and Lynn Ward recently hosted Bishop Auckland Rotary Club’s Annual Dominoes Tournament. The tournament, organised by Rotarian John Yeomans, is held each year in memory of Rotarian, Dr Sam Young.
As usual, supper consisted of a Taylor’s pork pie and Kath’s minted mushy peas.
This year’s winner was Rotarian Bill Robson and the runner-up was Sue Morrell.
Bishop Auckland Rotary Club President Graham Barsby presented the winner’s trophy to Bill and he also presented “Friends of Rotary” lapel badges to Derek and Lynn.
Bishop Auckland Rotary Club meets every Tuesday evening 6-15pm for 6.45pm start.
