Trades4care have just completed a large project on Woodhouse Close at the Auckland Youth and Community Centre.
Over the last 3 weeks the team have decorated the reception, corridors, drop in area, games room, the classroom and the sports hall. They’ve also boxed in pipe work and fixed a new exterior bench just outside reception.
The team were joined on this project by Bishop Auckland College students Matthew Walker and Thomas Wright-Pickles. Sean from O’brien and Sons also helped with the boxing in and fitted the new Bench.
Charlie Wright, co-founder of Trades4care, said “It’s been an absolute pleasure to be back at the AYCC, yet another community building that does so much for local residents.
“Both the the Auckland Youth and Community Centre along with the local Church and Woodhouse Close Community Centre stand side by side on the estate like a shining light going above and beyond to help families on the estate.
“Thanks to Matthew and Thomas for again giving up their free time to help the team in the community.”
