The 4 Together Partnership currently has two vacancies on the partnership board for public representatives. This is an opportunity for residents from the partnership areas of Ferryhill, Chilton, Cornforth and Bishop Middleham, who have a keen interest in the local community, to join a dynamic and proactive board, who have successfully delivered a number of projects throughout the area since our formation in June 2009.
Lee Copeland, Principal AAP Coordinator, said: “The role itself isn’t onerous; in terms of time commitments, there is a requirement to attend a board meeting every two months, and preferably to have input to at least one of our Task & Finish Groups if you can, but really it’s about sharing your valuable local knowledge and being passionate about your community – helping to make a difference in our area.
“To become a Public Representative on the board you must live, work, volunteer or study within the partnership area, and you must be over the age of 16. “The two vacancies represent a good opportunity to become directly involved and make a difference in our local community.” Anyone interested in applying should contact the office for a full application pack: email fouraap@durham.gov.uk or telephone: 03000 267210. The closing date for applications is 5pm on Wednesday 8th November 2017.
