Joe Lewis from Shildon had his second amateur MMA fight on Saturday (28 Feb) on Machine MMA at The Fed in Gateshead, and with that, brought home his second victory.
Fighting out of The Lab Darlington, Joe won his 92kg bout via guillotine choke in the first round, marking his second first round submission in as many fights.
“Prep was brilliant,” said Joe, “we really focused on setting a good pace for the full fight if need be”. Overall he is very happy with the result.
When asked what is next, Joe responded “a short break, then potentially a move down to middleweight”.
