Veteran memorial unveiling – Spennymoor

An unveiling ceremony of two granite plaques dedicated to the veterans of the Spennymoor parish town area and those that have died in conflict, will be taking place on Saturday, 19th August, at 10.15am.
The event has been organised by Cllr Pete Molloy, and will take place at the walled flower bed next to the town’s war memorial on Cheapside.
The plaques will be unveiled by Deputy Lieutenant Major Chris Lawton MBE and Mrs Elaine Hutchinson.
