In Thanksgiving and Remembrance Service – Ferryhill Methodist Church

At Ferryhill Methodist Church, we will be holding our annual In Thanksgiving and Remembrance Service on Sunday, 5 November at 2.30pm, writes Pastoral Secretary Ann Bower.

The service, led by our minister, Rev’d Chris Humble, will offer everyone a time of quiet reflection, with poems and readings, to give thanks to God for loved ones who have meant so much to us, and whose memory will forever live on in our hearts.

There will be an opportunity for the names of loved ones to be read out and for anyone to light a candle or write a prayer in memory of loved ones, if they would like to.

The Book of Remembrance will also be available for people to read inscriptions. We hope this will be a time of healing and peace.

The service is open to anyone who would like to come and light refreshments will be served afterwards.
