Great Aycliffe Cancer Support Group Coffee Morning – Chilton

Great Aycliffe Cancer Support Group’s next coffee morning at the Chilton Catholic Club will be held on Wednesday 20 March from 10am-12noon.

They welcome everyone from the surrounding area to enjoy a cuppa and cakes, and find out how the charity has been supporting cancer patients across the local area.

The local charity supports anybody within Newton Aycliffe and surrounding towns and villages who have been affected by cancer.

The Aycliffe shop and hub is currently open every Tuesday and Thursday from 9.30am-3pm, and Friday 10am-2.00pm.

Their Darlington shop is now open 10am-2.30pm on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.

They are currently in need of volunteers to man both shops, as well as to provide patient transport for cancer patients to attend hospital appointments.

The demand for this service has dramatically increased and anyone who can spare even a few hours a week as a volunteer would be warmly welcomed.
