Thirteen year-old Anthony Stout, a pupil at Bishop Barrington School in Bishop Auckland, is enjoying a promising football career on the one hand and boxing successes on the other.
He played for England when he was in the undernine team against Wales, scoring one of the winning goals in their 4-3 victory. Anthony has 47 football trophies and now plays for St Mary’s under-14’s team.
He had his first fight aged ten and has won 12 out of his 19 fights. He has also won “Fighter of the Night” on four occasions and now has 16 trophies.
The highlight of his career to date is that he has been declared North East junior boxing champion for the
past two years.
