Shildon Junior Under 15’s demolished Darlington Allstars 13-0 in a completely one sided game at the BR ground on Sunday, 28th February.

Shildon reclaimed top spot due to next week’s opponents Sedgefield dropping their first points of the season after losing 5-4 at Guisborough.

Adam Campbell opened the floodgates in the 14th minute followed by goals from Dylan Rutherford, Blake Milner (with a screaming volley from outside the box Zidane-esk), Ben Mason (2) Mason Quinn, Bailey Leybourne (with a long range screamer into the top corner from outside the box), Noah McCourt (2) Steven Dawson, Adam Campbell with his second and then 2 goals in the last 2 minutes from Kienan Watson – the first a bullet header from just inside the 6 yard box then a neat close range finish to wrap up the scoring.

Just the tonic before next weeks top of the table clash at home to Sedgefield 12.00 kick off which promises to be the Juniors biggest game of a remarkable season in which Shildon have so far won 9 league games, drawn one losing 0. MOM Ben Mason
