South Durham Professional Street Artist Lewis Hobson from Durham Spray Paints has worked with Chilton’s young residents to spray paint creative designs on the Skatepark located on the Charlie Wayman football ground. 

1st Chilton Scout Group showed of their culinary skills to Chilton Mayor Cllr Sue Reece and a pancake supper in St Aidan’s Church Hall.

Chilton Town Council will host a public meeting for Avant Homes tomorrow, to outline the details and answer questions from Chilton Residents, on the planning application to develop 148 new houses and associated and outline planning permission for 320 houses and landscaping.

Chilton Town Council is bringing forward its application to list St Aidan’s Church and the Miners Welfare Pavilion as non-designated heritage assets based on residents’ feedback in the community consultation for the Chilton Neighbourhood Plan and associated sources, which has placed significant importance on preserving our heritage for future generations.
