Celebrated since 1926, World Thinking Day is a day of international friendship, speaking out on issues that affect girls and young women, and fundraising for 10 million Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world.
Such activities supportgirls in learning new skills, taking action on issues that matter to them and developing themselves as global citizens and agents of the change they want to see in the world.
On Monday 22nd February, five new members were enrolled into the 4th Shildon Rainbows on this special day, just in time for the celebrations.
