Bishop Auckland Music Society’s next concert is on Friday 14 July from 7.30pm at Bishop Auckland Methodist Church and features the Chloe Piano Trio.
Maria Gilicel (violin), Jobine Siekman (cello), and George Todica (piano), play trios by Shostakovich, R. Clarke and Brahms. They perform for BAMS having been selected as Kirkman Trust Young Artists in 2022.
The Chloe Piano Trio, current winners of the Royal Philharmonic Society Henderson Prize for Chamber Ensemble Award, were formed in 2017 at the Royal College of Music. They have performed across the UK and in Europe. A notable appearance was to play for HRH King Charles (then Prince of Wales) during his President’s Visit to the Royal College of Music in 2020.
