Father Chukwunonso Anosike, who has lately been assisting Father Augustine Ofama in his duties at All Saints RC Church in Ferryhill, has recently travelled to the Vatican to continue his studies.

Fr Anosike loved his time in Ferryhill, so local resident, Kevin Waite, decided to present him with a Ferryhill Athletic shirt, which he was delighted to take with him.

“He told me he’ll be keeping an eye out for our results next season,” said Kevin. “He’s a good man and I wish him well with his studies.”
