A comfortable 3-0 midweek win over Seaham Red Star saw Bishop Auckland FC extend their lead at the top of Northern League Division One to four points.

Marcus Giles opened the scoring in the first half before second half goals from Andrew May and Dean Thexton sealed the win.

Meanwhile, Bishops’ FA Vase tie against Blyth Town has been switched to Heritage Park this weekend in an effort to fulfil the already twice-postponed fixture.
