On 30 May two students from Chi Taekwondo attended a Dan Grading at Worcop in Cumbria hosted by Koryo Taekwondo.
Successful candidates were Jack Craggs from Bishop Middleham who attained his 1st Dan Black Belt and Instructor Paul Metcalfe from Ferryhill who was Promoted to 3rd Dan.
Both performed brilliantly on the day and were awarded their new ranks by Grand master Ian Leafe 8th Dan.
Chi Taekwondo has local clubs based at Fishburn, Chilton and Bishop Middleham and cover all aspects of the martial arts.
It’s ideal for anyone wanting to improve their health, fitness and confidence whilst learning how to defend yourself.
It’s open to anyone wishing to give it a try and we currently have members aged from 5 to 77 who all train to the best of their ability.
