With Government changes to Winter Fuel Payments it has never been more important to check if you are entitled to Pension Credit.

To provide support to the community, Ferryhill LADDER Centre we will be running free drop-in sessions to check pension credit entitlement and help people with new applications for pension credit.

Sessions will take place at the LADDER Centre on Mondays 14 and 21 October from 1pm until 4pm and at Chilton Town Hall on Tuesdays 15 and 22 October from 10am until 1pm.

“If you are unable to attend these dates please just give us a call at The Ladder Centre and we can arrange to get your Pension Credit check done for you,” said Advice Worker, Nigel Jones.

“Please come along, the check is very easy to do and you could be missing out on money you are entitled to,” he added.
