Shildon AFC’s most recent postponed match, the away fixture at Crook Town, has now been rearranged for Saturday 2 December at The Sir Tom Cowie Millfield Ground, Crook. Kick-off will be 3pm.

Meanwhile, the Railwaymen will look to keep up their unbeaten start to the Northern League campaign this weekend when they host Guisborough Town at Dean Street.

Nearest rivals, Bishop Auckland were able to catch up their games in hand when their match at Penrith last weekend got the go-ahead and saw the Two Blues close the gap at the top to within three points after handing out a 0-6 drubbing.

After 13 games, Shildon are on 35 points and Bishops are on 32.

Shildon’s opponents this weekend sit mid-table and were deducted three points and fined £100 for playing ineligible players in their game against Bishop Auckland on August 23.

All their players were ineligible as the team was suspended by the North Riding FA for monies owed from August 21-24 when the suspension was lifted.
