The Bishop Auckland Fundraising Group of Marie Curie celebrated it’s 12th birthday earlier this month.
The group acknowledges the people of South West Durham whose generosity has enabled the Bishop Auckland Group to achieve the magnificent sum of £191,000 as at January 2025.
All monies raised are used to provide essential end of life care in the area.
The Group meets at 1.30pm on the first Tuesday of the month in St. Mary’s Church Hall on Woodhouse Lane.
New members are always welcome to help with fundraising ideas and the annual daffodil and supermarket promotional collections.
