On Monday 1st July at 7pm, Fr. Gareth Gladman, Curate at St. Andrew’s and also at Christ the King Bowburn, will be ordained priest by our Bishop, Stephen Race, during a special service at St. Andrew’s Parish Church.
As well as being a momentous and exciting day both in Fr. Gareth’s life and the life of the church community, it will also be the first time that an ordination has taken place at St. Andrew’s in its 140 year history: previously ordinations always took place in the cathedral, but this is often not the case today.
All are very welcome to attend the service and the buffet afterwards, to support and congratulate Fr. Gareth as he continues to serve these communities over the next few years.
