Can all dog owners keep their dogs on leads, especially in residential areas?
My cat was chased by a dog last week, and had it caught her, I believe it would have most certainly attacked her!
My cat was just outside my gate, in my street, when a large dog, not on a lead, ran at her. Luckily she got away, but climbed a tree, and was stuck for hours, this then resulted in a vets trip and a bill for three ripped out claws, not to mention the trauma she and her owners went through!!
If a dog is known to chase cats, why would an owner ever not have a leader on their dog?
This should not happen in street where we live, especially as the dog owner doesn’t!
