Shildon AFC Supporters Club lottery, drawn on Sunday 18th June, failed to produce a jackpot winner after the numbers 2, 4, 5, 8, 10 and 11 were pulled out of the hat.
One ticket was then drawn from all the week’s entries, with P Ferries winning the £25 consolation prize.
Asking that players correctly fill in their lottery tickets, a spokesperson for the Supporters Club committee said: “Unfortunately several tickets are being filled in which contain little or no details of the individual player which makes it extremely difficult, and in some cases would make it impossible to track down potential winners.
“As a result, we are asking that all tickets contain a full name and contact details or they will be declared void, as stated in the rules printed on the tickets.
“We are grateful to all players as their contribution not only assists the Supporters Club but also helps many local community groups and causes. We would not want any player to lose out on a potential prize, so we are urging all players to please abide by this request.”
This week, the jackpot rises to £900 with players choosing 6 numbers from the remaining 10.
Tickets for the lottery can be bought from various outlets in the town: Rakeesh Convenience Store on Main Street, Main Street News, the One Stop Shop on Byerley Road, Elm Road Club and the football ground social club during opening hours, including on Sunday evenings prior to the draw which happens during the Supporters’ Club Quiz Night, which begins at 8pm.
