Ferryhill Town Council is pleased to announce that the latest group to receive funding through its Members Initiative Fund is Bright Futures Ferryhill CIC, who recently attended a presentation at Ferryhill Town Hall, where Councillor Carole Atkinson presented representatives of the group, Hannah Wilkinson and Lilly Simpson with a cheque for £150 from her individual MIF allocation.

Monies will be spent on purchasing supplies/stock to support Bright Futures Community Pantry, which is based at Ferryhill Sports and Education Centre.

The Community Pantry offers food supplies at a heavily discounted price to local families, who are struggling due to the cost-of-living crisis.
