Sedgefield Water Polo Club would like to thank Helios Real Estate, based in Durham, for their very kind and generous donation of £1,500 towards their clubs operating costs.
The club is run totally by volunteers, many of whom have full time jobs and families of their own. Pool hire costs have unfortunately increased by over 400% since the pandemic and the club aims to keep membership costs as low as possible in order to encourage more children to take up this fun and exciting sport. The donation from Helios is very much appreciated.
Sedgefield Water Polo Club currently have over 60 members on our register, ranging in age from just 8 years old up to 38 years – so we cater for all age groups, both male and female. They are always looking for new members and offer free trials before having to sign up with us.
In addition to Junior and Senior sessions, Sedgefield Water Polo Club now offers a beginner session at Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre on a Saturday afternoon for those wishing to try this fun and exciting sport.
