Love was in the air on Monday 14 February as service users celebrated the 30th anniversary of Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC on Valentine’s Day.
The Day Care Provider for adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues living in Ferryhill and the surrounding areas has been thanking its supporters throughout the years.
“We are very proud of the high standard of day service we provide for some of the most vulnerable in our local community,” said a spokesperson.
“Thanks go to Ferryhill Town Council and the 4 Together Area Action Partnership for all their support.
“We have so many amazing supporters in the village including Evans & Co Solicitors, The Chapter – who always support us and publish our news, Clarks Estate Agents, Ferryhill WMC, Ferrydec, B’s Cakes and of course all the people of Ferryhill who are always so kind and generous.
“We have many supporters who are a short journey away like Shirley from Tesco Newton Aycliffe, Thorne Racing Syndicate and County Durham Community Foundation.
“We have supporters who wish to remain anonymous, our volunteers and directors who give without any financial recompense.
“And of course our brilliant and hard working day service manager, Louise and her team of Alan, Jo, Carole, Holly and Eve.
“But most of all there are our service users – and we all work towards offering them the opportunities that many of us take for granted in life.
“Thank you to everyone who has supported Endeavour over the last thirty years and those who continue to support our day service – we are so very grateful.”
