Funding is available for activities for children, young people and families during the Christmas holidays.

The scheme aims to support local community groups and organisations based in the Bishop Auckland and Shildon AAP area.

Applicants can apply for amounts over £500. Delivery must take place during the school holidays and must provide face to face enriching activities with at least one healthy meal (breakfast, lunch or tea) meeting School Food Standards and Food Safety Requirements.

Application forms can be requested from Bishop Auckland and Shildon AAP by emailing bishopshildonaap[@]durham[.]gov[.]uk.

The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Wednesday 9th October.

Please note that individuals or profit-making organisations cannot be funded.
