Continuing this year’s club competitions, the Wilson and Vest Mixed Pairs (3 wood drawn pairs, round robin) was played on Saturday July 1st, reports Shildon Town Bowling Club.
The eventual winners were Enid Miller and Harry Brown.
In the South West Durham Veterans League Double Pairs, the team of Arnie Millar, Selwyn Jenkin, Brian Watson and Ernie Schacht were successful again, beating Consett in Round Three and now go forward to play Spennymoor A in Round Four.
