Willington film director, Dean Midas has been chosen as BBC Radio Newcastle and BBC Upload’s Film Master for 2023 by presenter Emma Millen. Dean will be remembered by Bishop Auckland FC fans as their former head of media.
Listeners can tune in to Emma’s show on Wednesday 25 January to hear her talk to Dean.
It is fair to say that 2022 was a life changing time for Dean and his team, with his characters, Eve Valentine and The Rag Dolly also going from strength to strength.
In December, Dean said: “This has been an amazing and an unforgettable month. As well as the latest accolades, I was also recently named as the North East Film Maker of the Year and I must admit, I am in still in shock.”
Dean is already making plans for two new short films with The Devil’s Stone top of his list.
