The Humble Garden CIC recently hosted two wonderfully festive Wreath Making Workshops, bringing local residents together to create beautiful, hand-crafted Christmas wreaths.
Held in the heart of their community garden space, each session offered people the chance to get creative and enjoy making something special with their own hands.
Using freshly sourced moss from Windlestone Garden Centre, attendees built their own wreath bases before adding foliage and ribbon.
These workshops were heavily subsidised thanks to generous funding from The National Lottery.
This support allowed the sessions to be affordable and accessible to as many people as possible, reducing financial barriers and ensuring the festive activities could be enjoyed by all members of the community.
The positive feedback was overwhelming and plans are already being made to run the workshops again next year.
With the continued support of the community and funders, The Humble Garden hopes to expand on what they’ve built and offer even more creative, seasonal activities.
