Chilton Town Council is inviting the public to put forward your nominations for Chilton Community Champion and Young Community Champion.
The aim is to recognise an individual resident of Chilton over the age of 18 who has made an exceptional contribution to the town or its residents.
Whether this is being an environmental champion, an outstanding ambassador for the town, a sportsperson who has brought Chiton to the foreground, an amazing fundraiser, a resident friends of everyone, an amazing carer.
The awards panel are keen to know your nominated person has made a positive difference to Chilton, its residents or indeed just one resident.
The panel are looking for a resident who has gone that extra mile.
They are also looking to recognise a young person, under the age of 18, who has shown remarkable courage and commitment within the community through hard work, determination and dedication.
The awards panel are very keen to know your nominated young person is a credit to Chilton, perhaps via sport, academic achievement an amazing young carer, by demonstrating bravery or excelling in some other way, perhaps under adversity, that makes the whole community proud of them.
The closing date for both sets of nominations is Friday 22 March.
