Local businesses man Andrew Gilbey has generously funded a new mural display in Chilton, with additional donations kindly contributed by local residents.
The mural has been created by talented local artist Jordan Steed from Seaham, who was proud to take on the project.
Durham County Councillor Stephen Bowron said that the people of Chilton are incredibly proud of the veterans in the village and across the county, recognising their service and dedication to the country.
This mural stands as a lasting tribute and a symbol of our community’s gratitude to all those who have served.
