The 4 Together Partnership has a capital grants pot of £25,000 of its Area Budget provided by Durham County Council to allocate over the coming months.
Grants of between £500 and £5,000 are available to groups to fund capital-only projects within the Ferryhill, Chilton, and West Cornforth and Bishop Middleham areas.
There is £25,000 available for projects that meet any of the 2017/18 priorities, which are: Children & Young People & their Families; Older People and Health & Wellbeing.
A spokesperson said: “The 4 Together Partnership is seeking capital projects for necessary equipment and resources, facilities indoor and out, to make our communities more attractive, more user-friendly and fit for purpose.
“Ultimately projects will support the priorities so community members can live a happier and healthier life based on locally identified needs.”
The Capital Grants Pot is open for Applications from 2nd October until 23rd October and can only cover capital items. Anyone who is unsure whether they meet the criteria can contact the team for more information.
Projects should have a start date no earlier than December 2017 to allow time for applications to go through our technical appraisal process.
Lee Copeland, Principal AAP Coordinator at Durham County Council, said: “We would love to receive applications from groups who have project ideas which would meet our priorities for this year.”
