With Lee Brownson’s tenure as mayor coming to an end last week, Bishop Auckland Town Council has chosen Cllr Ann Golightly as the town’s new Mayor.

Cllr Golightly has nominated Butterwick Hospice, where she has volunteered for ten years, and Dementia Friends as her chosen charities.
