Bishop Auckland and Shildon area Local Network are inviting you to attend community engagement drop-in events across the Local Network area.
These events provide an opportunity to share local views, highlight issues affecting communities, and help identify priorities for the future. Feedback collected will inform the development of the Local Network Action Plan (LNAP), supporting coordinated action and partnership working to deliver positive outcomes across Bishop Auckland and Shildon and our surrounding villages.

Attendees are encouraged to share their views, in the context of their own community / neighbourhood, on the following themes:
- Employment, Jobs, Skills, Education and Training
- Health and Wellbeing
- Environment and Natural Spaces
- Housing and Physical Infrastructure
- Culture, Heritage and Events
- Community Safety
Drop-In Events
The sessions are informal, and there is no need to book. Residents can attend at any time during the event to speak with Local Network representatives and discuss the issues that matter most to them and their community. Events take place on the following:
- Shildon & Dene Valley: Friday 13 November, 10am – 4pm, Jubilee Fields Community Centre
- Bishop Auckland: Thursday 19 November, 11am – 4pm, Woodhouse Close Church
- West Auckland: Thursday 26 November, 2pm – 6pm at West Auckland Memorial Hall
