Ferryhill Banner Group are holding their first fund raiser of 2024 on Saturday 23 March at the Surtees Arms public house, in Ferryhill Station, which will be their Very Big Quiz Night.
The quiz starts at 8pm and teams up to a maximum of six people are encouraged to go along to enjoy a fun evening of quizzing.
There will also be a raffle on the night.
The Ferryhill Banner Group is raising funds to enable them to subsidise the transport for the band and their supporters – as well as refreshments for everyone after the event – to the Durham Miners Gala on Saturday 13 July.
Continuing the annual tradition, their banners will be also paraded through Ferryhill on the Friday evening before the Gala (12 July).
