After a successful performance by Ensemble Hesperi, the next Bishop Auckland Music Society concert will take place on Friday 15 July at 7.30pm.
Alexander Soares will play a European Odyssey on piano and the concert will be held at Bishop Auckland Methodist Church on Cockton Hill Road.
Alexander Soares has been praised for his performances that are ‘brilliantly unbuttoned’ (Sunday Times), playing with ‘huge intensity’ (Telegraph) as well as ‘diamond clarity and authority’ (BBC Radio 3).
His concert for BAMS includes pieces by Schubert, Beethoven, Chopin and Albeniz.
