When Adele joined Slimming World in Bishop Auckland, it was originally to support her daughter, Holly. But when she weighed in for the first time, she suddenly realised that it was just as important to her personally that she lose weight for her own health.
Adele knew that the only way was to commit to a lifestyle change as the only way to lose the weight and keep it off.
The mother and daughter run a cake decorating business, Cupcake Boutique Cake Store, but now Adele regularly posts meals in the group’s Facebook page packed with fruit and veg, which is free on the Food Optimising plan.
She also regularly socialises and eats out, and supports others in group with good swaps to do this and still lose weight.
Since joining and losing weight, Adele says she feels more active, full of energy and is more body confident. She has gone from wearing a size 20 to a size 14.
