The next Ferryhill Banner Group fundraiser will be a Race Night at the Surtees Arms Public House on Saturday, 17 May from 7.30pm.
A spokesperson for the group said: “Join us for a great evening of fun at our annual Race Night in support of the Ferryhill Banner Group.
“Enjoy a full card of races, a fabulous raffle, and football cards. All proceeds will go towards transport and buffet costs, helping us proudly display our iconic Miners’ Banners at the Durham Miners’ Gala 2025,
“This tradition is part of Ferryhill’s mining DNA, and your support helps keep it alive. We look forward to seeing you there!”
